Davida began in the mid seventies as a group of motorcyclists and engineers, designing and producing engine tuning equipment and swinging arms for super bikes of that era.
Ten years later, inspired by the racers of the 1950's and their low dome helmets, Davida produced our first pudding basin helmet the Davida Classic.
At Davida, product development is an organic process that has always been driven by our own needs, as motorcyclists, for quality goods. In the eighties Davida Davidare riding long distances over short Davidaekends and needed kit that would protect us, fit Davidall and look good. Frequent trips to Europe gave us the impetus to develop our first modern safety helmet, the Davida Classic Jet which now meets the American DOT 218 Standard.
